Are You TinkerBell?

Snow White, Princess ZY and Belle

Cinderella, Princess ZY and Princess Aurora

Dancing with the Winx Fairies, Bloom, Stella and Flora!

Disney Tiny Fairies

Huh??

Fly to Your Heart (Selena Gomez) from Disney TinkerBell Movie

Lyric

Watch all the flowers
Dance with the wind
Listen to snowflakes
Whisper your name

Feel all the wonder
Lifting your dreams
You can fly

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe
You'll find your wings
Fly to your heart

Touch every rainbow
Painting the sky
Look at the magic
Glide through your life

A sprinkle of pixie dust
Circles the night
You can fly

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe
You'll find your wings
Fly

Everywhere you go
Your soul will find a home
You'll be free
To spread your wings
Fly, you can fly to your heart

Rise to the heights
Of all you can be
Soar on the hope
Of marvelous things

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe
You'll find your wings
Fly

Everywhere you go
Your soul will find a home
You'll be free
To spread your wings
Fly, you can fly to your heart

A walking sound recorder?

This morning, while my parents were helping me to search for TinkerBell's videos on Youtube, we came across a very interesting video from BBC wildlife.

The video is about the Lyrebirds from Australia. These birds can mimic (copy) the calls of other birds. They can also mimic the sounds from their surroundings such as the camera shutter sound, car alarm and even chainsaw! So cool!

Stamp Collection

The other name for stamp collecting is philately (read as fill-lat-tell-lee). So, a stamp collector is also known as a philatelist (fill-lat-tell-list).

I like to look at my dad's stamp collections. Most of the stamps are very colourful.
I like them so much that I want to start a collection myself.

So, we went to the Singapore Post to buy my first set of stamps! I bought one of the latest issues, themed 'Playgrounds'.

Below is the Cover Story printed on the inside of the stamp cover.

Playgrounds

A place to play, time to play, friends to play with, and methods of play - these are the four elements in a rich play environment.

Playgrounds, important places for children to play in, are easily found in parks, schools, child care facilities, institutions, multiple family dwellings, restaurants, resorts, and other public places. Pasir Ris Park and West Coast Park, among several parks, are popular for their large playgrounds and open spaces. An exciting variety of play equipment such as slides, monkey bars, swings and wall climbing facilities can be found in the playgrounds of many parks.

Children develop their social skills, physical coordination, strength and flexibility through play. Research shows that playgrounds are among the most important environments for children's recreational moments outside their homes.

These stamps (1st local, $0.50, $0.65, $0.80, $1.10 & $2.00), illustrate common locations for playgrounds in Singapore.

School Is Fun

First day of school in Endeavour Primary.

Getting ready to go to our class.

My favourite dessert, longan and sweet potato.

Some of the cute things I bought from the school bookshop.

I like the two cute bears, my little secret dairy, the dolphin keychain and the two magic boxes. I am still learning how to play 5 Stones.

2010 Primary 1 Orientation

Hello everyone! This is me in Endeavour Primary School on Wednesday, 30 December 2009.
I was there for my 2nd Orientation for 2010 Primary 1 pupils.

On that day, there were many parents and teachers in the school. I was very excited and very nervous. I think many of my classmates felt the same too. After a weclome speech by our school Principcal, our form teacher brought us to our class. Later that morning, we also visited other places in the school.

I like the school library. It has many books and it has air con!
